This year for my mom’s birthday, she asked that I make her a special cake to celebrate! Of all the things I know my mom loves, purses is definitely at the top of her list. Seeing as though her favorite color is green, I decided to make her a cute green purse cake.

This cake is made with my favorite chocolate cake recipe, homemade raspberry filling and buttercream frosting. I decorated it with my marshmallow fondant, with the detail work being hand piped. This cake is by no means my most perfect cake, unfortunately, but I loved it and it tastes amazing!
